The new plug suit designs in the reboot movies of Evangelion are, I’m convinced, the result of having no Standards and Practices board to answer to, as well as being dosed to the gills on some serious narcotics or something, Up until the second movie, in which Asuka finds out she’s showing more cheek than usual, the kinkiest designs for fighting suits I’d ever seen was the new hardsuits in Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. Priss, Nene, Sylia and Linna have to strip butt naked, get into their hard suits, and let some kind of VERY cold reaction gel cover their bodies inside the suits. What Jonathan Clements and Helen McCarthy said about those suits could apply to the new plug suits in the Evangelion reboot movies: they demean even as they empower.

Let me guess: you saw THAT scene in End of Evangelion where Shinji faps to a comatose Asuka? Even Shinji admits as much in both Japanese and English.
I’ve actually read an Evangelion doujin or two to this effect, seeing Asuka damn Shinji for being such an idiot while enjoying his cock or, in this case, wishing she were enjoying it.
I like Evangelion’s opening song, “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis” (Zankoku Wa Tenshi no Thesis), just fine, but I just had to fuck with it for something like this. All the usual suspects are there, except for Mari (who seems to be enjoying the view in the poster), and I believe that’s the lesbian Maya Ibuki helping Asuka out down there.
Before he was a senator for the state of Tennessee, Fred Dalton Thompson played a lot of take-charge characters in movies. His classic line from Die Hard 2—he plays the chief air traffic controller—in the text for this Evangelion poster comes as he decides to have all other flights coming into Washington, D.C. in a holding pattern in order to let the plane captured by terrorists land first.
I briefly considered riffing on Reggie Watts’ “Fuck Shit Stack” in it, but I already did it for this previously posted Bible Black piece.

With the way Mari goes after Shinji in some doujin I’ve seen, Shinji must have barricaded himself in his room for the night to keep Mari off of him for a change. Mari has the best rapeface here, and Asuka’s expression is priceless.

I like Evangelion doujin fine, but that title has been so dominated by ntr (i.e. rape/blackmail/humiliation) stories that I usually don’t bother with them.
